Runescape is being replaced by Duel Arena, and OSRS could follow Suit

2021 is about to come to an end and a number of games are offering players numerous new features or items prior to the time that December's end. OSRS and Runescape aren't the only ones to be included. Jagex has revealed recently that the famous Duel Arena will be removed from the game and be replaced with the brand new Het's Oasis. The players can take part in the reconstruction of the destroyed area and gain OSRS gold for helping. Additionally, they can earn rewards that are based on the player's performance and community's progress. Although Runescape has stated it will remove the arena eliminated from their version this game OSRS have made suggestions that OSRS would follow.


What exactly is What is Duel Arena?


The long-running Duel Arena has been an old location located in the northeast from Al Kharid in the Kharidian Desert. To allow players to access the area they must rub an eagle's ring for teleportation to the arena , or using a lodestone to that Al Kharid area and head towards the north to arrive at their goal. The arena is where players can gain Runescape gold as well as OSRS gold by fighting with other players.


After entering the arena, players can take on other players who are in the area. The participants in the duel will need decide on the rules of the fight prior to starting the duel. The participants will also need place bets or a stake in order to show the others how much they can win from the duel. Participants in the duel will be transferred to the main arena stage. In the meantime, other gamers can view the match from the walls of the arena and throw rotten tomatoes , which do not cause any damage.


The Duel Arena has born witness to a multitude of player duel from streamers of all sizes and novice Runescape players. It was also the venue for various events prior to the update of 2011 which ended the option. Following the Wilderness and Free Trade update, tournaments held at the arena were canceled because they felt the experience to be disappointing overall.


Destroying the Duel Arena


The arena's long-running course will be destroyed by what is described as a cataclysmic catastrophe. It is thought that this will result in an earthquake of a magnitude which will destroy every structure or structure that is in the vicinity. Because of the devastation of the region the players will no more be able to take part in PvP duel against one players for gold. Gamers must leave behind the old method of duels for betting within the Kharidian Desert.


Following the devastation of the Duel Arena, players will be required to join forces to rebuild the destroyed space. The plan for rebuilding doesn't intend to rebuild the arena, however, it is to substitute it with new structures which serve different purposes from the ones before. This is the place where Het's Oasis comes in.


"The New Het's" Oasis


The reconstruction process is a one-time event dubbed"the Oasis Restoration. From January 4th gamers can participate in the reconstruction of the area that was destroyed and transform it into a bustling paradise. Gamers will be able to complete a variety of everyday tasks in a group for two weeks in order to finish the entire construction of Het's Oasis. Participation in the game will grant players a variety of rewards , such as being awarded the "Of the Ruins" title as well as the desert-themed armor "Warrior of Het,"" Gator shoes cosmetic override as well as a pet crocodile called Chomper.


The new mini quests and skills will be available following the patch for the event. The mini quests that are added will be permanent quests tied to current Elder God Wars narrative. These quests will be known as "Eye of Het I" and "Eye of Het II." There isn't additional information about these quests, other than that one quest is expected to be released on January 4, and the second comes out on the 10th of January.


There will be new skills to choose from once they are available. Het's Oasis update rolls out. These new solo features are permanent after the end of the time-limited event. The first course of skilling will be an Agility course in which players investigate the remains of the demolished Duel Arena. The other is an Hunter technique where players use a crocodile for hunting scarabs in the area. There will be six new scarabs to hunt for, each of which requires some level of hunting in order to capture. The third new skill is the Farming technique that lets players take care of flowers and pick different kinds of flowers. These flowers will require specific levels of farming to be harvested.


Although fans will certainly regret The Duel Arena and its glorious past, players are enthusiastic about the new content that is coming. But, players will need to wait for confirmation from Jagex when it will announce that the game Oasis will be available to OSRS also, or only Runescape. The previous modifications in OSRS' Duel Arena imply that it's going to replace or removing content. It's hoped that Het's Oasis will be available to OSRS as well since those who played the older versions of the game may feel left out if aren't able to play the brand new content , and also get Cheap osrs 2007 gold for the events.
