As the game changed and with the eventual closing at the Duel Arena, the Old School RuneScape team had promised the possibility of a replacement. A complete replacement is revealed The PvP Arena. The new alternative has many variations that are designed to provide the best and more balanced experience, and to reduce the frauds that were becoming very common.

Duel Arena Duel Arena was closed (and removed!) in the beginning of the year after some changes made in November. The amount of fraudulent websites and RMT spammers started to create an old-fashioned requirement to be changed. But those changes were intended to serve as an interim step towards a full replacement. This replacement was created to make it more stable and secure but nonetheless, it is designed to allow players to take part in the battles (and RS Gold rewards) which come with a good game.

The PvP Arena functions as follows You need to indicate you're in search of a fight , and the system will handle it. Keep playing and you'll be informed of a possible match and, once it's confirmed you'll be taken to the alternate save world for PvP to battle a player of the same skill level. Because all of these PvP combats take place on an alternative server during your participation you will be able to play at any level. All of your items and levels are lost and you'll be given a basic list of stats. You'll then be able to choose a style of combat that will boost certain stats. After that, you choose a different combat style that is different from the one you chose.

After the fights are over and you've earned rank points, when you win a match (1v1 fight or tournament) which the game organizes for you,you will get rs 07 gold reward and points reward.You will be able create tournaments and duels by hand however, they will not reward you with points.

In line with efforts to decrease RMT and improve the user experience the rewards that are not cosmetic are only available in areas that allow PvP. It is not possible to fight anything other than the other players who have them. Certain rewards cannot be traded, whereas you'd think they'd be exchangeable. This is to deter RMT spammers and scammers searching for goods.
