I love Old School RuneScape, I Consider

It's possible to engage in a game for up to 1,000 hours but this doesn't mean you're going to enjoy the OSRS Gold. We've all seen the meme of someone writing an unfavorable Steam review, with more than five hundred hours of play time. Let's face it this isn't an acceptable idea anymore.

I've put hundreds of hours in Fallout 4, and I could have had fun with around five hours. The rest was just a promise of entertainment, with the bloody 'kill, loot, return' game loop that tricked my brain into thinking that it was enjoying itself. It's been interesting to read the comments you've made about Skyrim and how you've returned to it again. It's pathetic, all of us.

What about old School RuneScape? I don't know. It's easy to spot the games that are time-sink that consume your time and you then complain about it on the internet. However, RuneScape is unique. If I'm not playing I don't have an opinion about the game. I simply feel songs in my head and feel a pulling me back to the music. The discovery that it was on my mobile was an error. My family hasn't contacted me in a few days.

RuneScape was among the pioneers of games that were that is solely about involvement, which doesn't always need to be accompanied by pleasure. This isn't to say that both are incompatible however, it's just that there are options to play even in the absence of having enjoyable.

RuneScape is also one of the best in its field. Recently, I've watched the fan-made documentary RuneScape Historical Timeline 1998 to 2020, which is about the evolution of the game (it truly has impacted every aspect that I'm involved in) and the designers were amazed to see players achieving their statistics in months instead of years. Top-tier accounts were active for over 10 hours every day, all day. In 2021 I can understand why. If you're a fan of the genre of fantasy, the atmospheric music draws you into. It's so simple that your brain can fill with blanks. This is probably why we became so fascinated as children, it's the perfect place to play and have your own fun.

However, as an adult it's like having being a second job. In a good way, however, I believe. However, I'll still be at the TV and using the laptop that I've used to spend eight hours at my current job, slaving away at my level of magic since I've decided that my character could be a wizard. The next day, perhaps I would like to fulfill my childhood dream of owning an entire set of black armour. So now I'm a knight I suppose.

Lead designer for RuneScape, Dave Osborne, alluded to this when I asked him about the company's continued popularity of the game during its 20th anniversary. "There is no class available there are no walls on servers that separate players from, and there is no content that's restricted to a specific kind of player," he told me in an earlier interview. "Everyone is a player in RuneScape is able to play anything within its realm. Everyone knows your success since they're likely striving for it as well."

When the first day you arrive at Lumbridge you will find that all the top players might be yours in the future. It's intoxicating.

"More than I've experienced in any game the character is me. it's a culmination of my achievements in RuneScape and is incredibly important to the players."

Many games are fighting to control your life, however RuneScape is the one that is honest about it. The reason why it is so popular isn't in the quests or legends. When players talk about the win-state, they are talking about getting their stats up to levels 99. Nobody considers obtaining all settlements in Fallout 4 to be the ultimate goal. It's all about the narrative that goes along with it, the journey. The numbers are what it's all about. They're all there has to be.

RuneScape is a game that can be anything you wish to make it. It's incorporated in my life exactly as the way it was when I was seven years old, but in a different way.
